Our Mission

Organize. Vote. Win. Three words. One non-negotiable deadline.

"Democracy is not self-executing. It requires the active participation of citizens who understand what is at stake and choose to act anyway."

The mission of The Resistance Club is straightforward: to connect engaged Americans with the information, tools, and community they need to make their votes count — in every election, in every state, in every cycle that matters.

We believe the midterms are the most consequential elections in American democracy. While presidential elections capture the headlines, it is Congress that writes the laws, controls the budget, confirms the judges, and decides whether any check on executive power exists at all. The 2026 midterms are a referendum on the last two years — and the last two years have given us more than enough to work with.

The Three Things We Do

Organize

We build community around shared civic purpose. The Compact is our network of committed members who show up every election, every cycle, every time — not just when it's exciting, but when it matters.

Vote

We make voting easier. Our Voter Resources section provides direct links to register, verify registration, find polling locations, and request absentee ballots — for every state in the country.

Win

We track the races where votes matter most. Our Battleground section focuses resources on the congressional and Senate contests that will determine the balance of power in Washington.

What We Are Fighting For

We are fighting for the rule of law — the principle that no person, regardless of office or wealth, is above the legal obligations that bind every other citizen.

We are fighting for the independence of the judiciary, the freedom of the press, the right to vote without intimidation, and the fundamental understanding that the federal government exists to serve the American people — not to enrich those who hold power over it.

We are fighting for the 2026 midterms — because a Congress that provides genuine oversight of the executive branch is the most powerful tool available to citizens who believe accountability matters.

Why the Midterms

Every member of the House of Representatives faces voters in November 2026. One third of the Senate faces voters. Governorships and state legislatures across the country are on the ballot. These races determine who draws the district maps, who certifies elections, who sits on state supreme courts, and who represents you in Washington when the next crisis arrives.

We have eleven districts that are genuinely competitive. We have Senate seats that could flip. We have governors' races that will shape the next decade of American politics. We are watching all of them. We are telling you which ones matter. We are asking you to vote, to volunteer, and to bring five people with you.

That is the mission. It has a deadline.
